You can find more of my original SoundFont creations (with sample MIDI files) here ->. You'll need a sound card that supports soundfonts (or simply "XMPlay", with the "MIDI Plugin" installed), and one that can handle loading a 54.8 meg soundfont. Heh, guess I should have included a DOOM tune as well LOL!Īnyways, download and extract the ZIP, and then run the EXE to finish extracting the soundfont (the ZIP contains a self-extracting "sfArk" format soundfont archive much better compression than ZIP/RAR/TAR/ACE/etc.). Any idea what is causing that issue? I'm suspecting it has to do with folder permissions.I finally got off of my butt and uploaded a custom soundfont of mine that I've worked on and off for several years now. However when I copied the Gzdoom folder to my desktop, I was able to run it just fine (works great!). Those commands installed Gzdoom in my 'opt' folder, for some reason I couldn't run the program or even copy the wad files I needed into that folder in the first place. Sudo apt-add-repository 'deb stable multiverse' I used these commands the forum suggested: What I found was on the Linux Mint forums (nice distro but not as Nvidia friendly as Zorin is!) How would I uninstall those programs? I'm not having any issues but I don't think I need them now. However the rest of the instructions on that page were a little confusing, so I did some more research.
